crab id please??

sorry no pic, but i have been trying to catch a mantis shrimp and i found a little ( about half the size of a dime) crab, he is pink, shaped like a porcelan crab, he was hiding in a hole in lr. any ideas on what he is and is he safe?? thanks

Difficult to identify your crab, just like that. If you say that this crab looks like porcelan crab ,so probably it is. I found several different species of porcelan crabs: some are pinkish, some with brown dots, some white with little bit of dots.
If you are not sure if this crab safe or not, i would catch and place him in the sump until id will be 100% sure.
