Crab ID

I found this little guy in my tank tonight. Any idea what kind of crab he is? I originally thought Emerald when I first saw him, but I don't think so. My wife thought it was a Sally Lightfoot. Any guesses?

Definetly not an emerald, does look kinda similar to a Sally light foot but the claws look too big so I'm not really sure what it is.

I moved him out of my main tank in case he will harm the corals.

my guess would be a porcelain crab. Check the pic on here and other sites to confirm. The pic on here makes them look purple, but that is the lighting.

Not a porcelin crab. I have one and they are definitely different.

not sure what kind it is, but its claws are big, and if they look sharp i would get him outta there

So after I put him in the QT, he molted. Now he looks much lighter in color. I still have no idea.

I would deffinately not put him in a reef. I dont know what kind it is, but it does not look reef safe. Most hithiker crabs are not reef safe and will grow large. MOst either eat fish, clams, snails, and some even corals

Update...the little guy didn't make it. He kicked it last week. However, I found another one in my DT. This one I am not going to be able to catch.
