Just found this guy! Didn't know there was anything in the hole, which is about 2" across and apparently deeper than I can see into.
What is it?

That's the QT, to which copper has already been added anyway. They were the first coins I found when I needed something to toss in for a photographic size reference. They weren't in very long.

I do that all the time... except I use dimes... I have no idea why, but it has to be a dime...LOL. Just don't let kids see ya putting money in there cause all of a sudden they think it's a wishing well.

Mine is a "wishing well!" I keep wishing for a larger tank w/more live stock, and my husband calls it the "money pit!" Hmmm. How come the wishes only come true for children & in fairy tails? LOL!
