My wife and I went on a 2 week vacation to Scotland and left very detailed instructions for caring for the aquarium with her daughter who is 30 yrs old. The instructions included a daily check off of things to do each day. She did a great job of caring for the tank.
Now for the rest of the story. On a phone call home she was upset that the Sally Light Foot had died and was worried something was wrong. We assured her that there was nothing she could have done and that things just happen sometimes, She wanted to go out and replace it but we said not to as her money is a little tight.
When we returned home we were surprised to find a Sally Light Foot in the tank and assumed she had replaced it. She wasn't home when we returned and when she did come in we told her she shouldn't have replaced the crab and she said she didn't - didn't I know I had 2 crabs? Seems that the Crab molted while we were gone and we hadn't prepped her for that possibility!
