crabs fall off the glass and rocks

I am running a 215 and have about 150 hermits cleaning 280lbs of LR.
I find them falling off the glass and rocks. Is it because there are so many that it leaves so much room for error based on numbers? :thinking:

If you're talking about hermits it's normal. Either they lose thier grip or just want to take the quick way down.

And I swear, some seem to do it for fun or something! I have my hermits climbing the piping sometimes, only to get near the top, then they seem to simply let go and go for the ride!

My hermits always play cliff hanger and crawl on rocks hanging upside down till they can't hold on any longer lol.

I had one roll clean off the side of a rock that is high in tank and crash down on top another hermit on the SB.
