Crabs in my tank

I have about 8-10 of these critters in my tank. Can someone please help me identify if they are harmless or if I should take them out?
I lost a cleaner shrimp recently which I transferred from my quarantine tank to my 250 litre one. Came home 3 hours after the transfer and found a crab which had grasped firmly onto the shrimp's foot (shrimp was dead at the time) and was nibbling at it. Don't know if the crab killed the shrimp while it was scavenging on the rocks or if it died coz I did not acclimatize it properly.
I managed to catch one after several days with a tong and have put it inside a jar. The jar has been punctured with holes and has been put into my 15 gallon quarantine tank. Dont want the crab running loose there and hiding under rocks or in the sand!

I really can not see them in the pic, are their pincers rounded or do they come to a point, if you are not sure as Henry suggests get them out.
BTW as Henry knows, better in your tank then in your pants

Just avoid public toilets and you'll never need this stuff. (That line didn't work in my Frat house years ago either; but I did have my own toilet for a month or so. )
BTW, I used Firefox for several years, switched to Google Chrome and love it!

When I started using Firefox; it was because a computer geek column explained how much junk is aimed at windows--so IE would pick it up, but Firefox wouldn't. Now, it seems, that Firefox is being targeted a bit more. That really isn't a big deal for me though. My old computer lost IE somehow, so I just downloaded Chrome as a back-up, then started using it. It is very idiot-friendly and the bells & whistles are easy to use. The Chrome "bookmarks Bar" is really neat, you can keep about 6 bookmarks on the main browser (home) page. Also, it seems that Google gives instant suggestions and changes them with each letter in the search box. there are still a few sites (mostly government) that aren't Chrome friendly, but that's changing. Try it, I love free stuff and (politics aside) Google is a great company; I just figured their search engine would be very compatible with their browser---and it seems to be.

Florida Joe, I have circled the crab in the pic attached for your review. Would like to see what you have to say too.
Whats the best way to take out the crabs from my tank without having to take out the live rock? The one I managed to grab was pretty small and let me pick him up with a tong. Others are bigger and wiser :(
I also seem to have three baby lobster like things. They have two long, thin feelers in front and are sand colored. They come out slightly at feeding time but are very very shy. Claws are long and slightly rounded. Sorry don't have a pic and doubt i will ever get one as they are always under a rock crevice. Any idea what these are?
My LFS tells me not to worry and leave the tank alone.... I'm not very partial to this advice and want the critters out!Attachment 241890
