crack in the top of glass

Hi all.. I'm about half way through my cycle(setting up a new tank) and I have discovered 2 hairline cracks in the top right corner of my glass.. Now I know they were'nt there when I began there but what I'm looking for is if there is anything I can do or do I basically have to scrap this thing and get a new one ? The crack starts in the top right corner and extends to about an inch or two below the water line. That one is on the outside there is a tiny one about an inch long on the inside an inch or so below that one.
I attached a picture of it... not that great quality .. but you can make it out
Any Suggestions ?
thanks,
Dan

yeah.. it's about 3 weeks old. I was hoping to be able to fix it since it seems it will be a monumental pain in the rear to swap it out. What a pain... This make's me want to buy acrylic

Update... My roomate (bob vila.. well not really) got home and was like ... That's just a surface scratch ignore it! .. I thought glass was very difficult to scratch though or more so than acrylic anyway.. but thanks for the help.. I'll play it by ear.

actually it is very easy to scratch glass, be carefull if u use a magnet to clean the front glass if any sand gets trapped between the 2 it will scratch it all up i use a magnet and stay about 2 inches from the bottom after that it is a scraper
