I did have a 35 gallon tank that i droped (becuase it was really wet) and there was a huge crack on the bottom. I would try an aquarium sealent or rubber cement (the kind for fish tanks) and put that over the crack. Let it sit for a day or two, then, fill it up with FW and see if it leaks. if it doent, I would think it would be ok. Just to make sure, put some snails in and see what happends. If they die, i would really recomend to get a new aquarium. If you have any questions on this, post back. Hope it works!

same thing happened to a 100 gal tank I had. cracked on the bottom from one corner to the side. The LFS said to get a plate of 1/2in glass and a bunch of sealant and glue it on. He then told me to keep the tank in the garage cause it will never work.
For your piece of mind, and I know the price.....get a new tank.

the glass will continue to crack...the end result: your inhabitants all over the floor, and time to get new carpet. Its a goner :( <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> :(
