I prob know this, but I have a 54 corner bow and am finally getting another pair of horses (H erectus) . I am worried I have too much live rock. I'll try for some pictures later, but The whole back corner is full, and the rock touches the sides about half way to the front. Do you think it may be too much, should I give them more swimming room.

I don't know where Renee is, but why dontcha post a pic? My gut feeling is probably a little too much rock, but if it's just two horses you might be fine with it for now. Do you have a place to put it if you decide you want to take some out?

Yah, I took the pictures, but cant get them to post. My new computer has a really bad photo program. I will have to go to photo bucket
and yes the clown and cromis are going by by. I will put the cromis in my 150 and the clown will get traded for a nice gobie.

Honestly, as long as there are no mantis shrimp hiding out in there, I think that amt of rock is just fine!! I love the look of those corner tanks, too...very nice!

Sorry! I don't really hang out in the seahorse forum over here. But I couldn't miss my name when it popped up in the "new posts". :)
Your rock is very nicely laid out. The problem I can see with it is the horses hiding behind there and not being in view. Behind the rocks is were the pods are going to populate and the seahorses know where to get an easier snack. My most recent tank I barely used any rock in the display... there's a whole bunch of rubble in the sump to make up for it.

My rock in my 54 (same tank I think as Teresas) is very similar except not as high, and not against the glass, it is mostly in the center of the tank...my horses go all around the tank, and yes sometimes it is hard to find them, but I think they like the hunting..
