I have often spoke of the virtues of a Diamond Goby at cleaning the substrate , but this guy is getting out of control. My substrate is suppose to be a SSB tank, but after leveling some of his "handy-work" last week he has gone nuts with putting as much as he can right up in front of the tank. In spots the substrate is now well over 6 to 8 inches deep. When I look from underneath there are large bare areas now where he thinks he has homes in the rocks.
Should I take some of my substrate out day by day and move it to my fuge of what???? Other than eating most all my pods daily I have always liked the guy but his continual re-landscaping and hiding frags (he says what frags??? and mushrooms etc. needs to stop. It would be nice to have a somewhat normal looking substrate base. I thought I had outsmarted him by putting frags in bowls, but he even tries to cover them in there! Any ideas?? Sorry about the washed out shot , I wanted to show the substrate as well as I could............thanks for any thoughts or ideas on this odd issue. Warren
