crazy hitch hicher snail found in tank pic id please!?!?!

i found this guy on a piece of my LR next to a small metallic green shroom and was wondering what the heck it was.... its very colorful and has appendiges shooting out from the shell looks like an abalone shell of some sort...??
what do u guys think... its pretty interesting

i just saw some fuzzy thing cruising around the tank and was like what the heck is this and luckily got it out....
doubt ill ever see him again i put him back in the tank lol

That is by far one of the coolest hitchikers I have ever seen. IMO, it looks to be like a nudibranch of some sort. The little bigger must have come from an actual reef in the ocean. thats the craziest thing.

its actually got a hard shell surrounding him and its flat shapped like an abalone then hes a snail underneath but it has the coolest colrs and wierdest things sticking out of his shell that retract

Ohh ok, Now that i look at the pics I see how its a snail. Does it have stinging tenticles?

I wonder if you just went ahead and grabbed it barehanded when you found it :p You know some snails are actually DEADLY?

hmmm i never though of that .... yeah i just used my hands to pry it off the rock it was on.... but my fingers have skin so thick that i cant feel heat lol from construction my hands have been ruined but thanks for the advice that could have been a bad situation

after lookin up what an abalone is im 99% sure thats what it is... i dont know what species but its most likely a juvenile abalone .... those tentacles are called its epipodial tentacles and its non-poisonous phewww close call lol

thats what i said, but if you look close at the first few pics you can see a shell.
