Would there be any benefit to tinting the sides of a tank with mirror window film? would there be more useable light reflected?:confused:
This would be for a Prop tank, not a display.:D

LOL, my first tank I had the back with this paper/mirro stuff. I don't know if it helped but how could it hurt. The fish might think they have a friend to. LOL

I read an article once about tinting the glass of tanks for really shy fish. This way they could not see movement outside the tank, and it would help keep the fish from stressing out. I do believe the tint they were talking about was not reflective as this could also scar the fish, but it if for a sump it may work.:thinking:

I am not sure you are going to find the answer to this, It may be a case of you get to be the first, and maybe post your finding here or in a fish mag.
