Creature Found In Prefilter Skimmer Box..ugh, What Is It???

Please help us to identify our "discusting" but interesting creature that we have found in the skimmer box. It is quite bit..about a couple of inches in size...oh what a surprise doing our cleaning this week. Any ideas????

Looks like an aptaisia anenome.

gently scrape it off with a razorblade and then be ready to suck it up with a turkey baster. flush it!

ok, I can scrape it out of there slowly BUT it is way to large for a turkey baster...any other ideas to get it out of there quickly with?
