Creature identification help on the rock of life. pics

I swear everytime I buy corals (well only 3 times so far) the liverock they are attached too are so much better and lively than when just buying live rock so far. Case and point, can somebody tell me what kind of worms (if they are indeed worms) these are circled in red? they are clear/white with black stripes. they are fairly abundant on the rock. not sure if they are worms because they've been out in full tank light as you can see below. are they good, pest, problematic? also circled in blue, are those just common baby button polyps growing on the rock? they all up under some of the mushrooms and elsewhere. shouldn't they be stinging each other?

and exhibit 2
can anybody identify the plants growing out the same rock? will it thrive under 6.4 watts/gallon of power compact lighting? does it spread rapidly(really dont want ANYTHING in the tank to get too out of hand wether it be worms, corals or plants)? kinda cool if it stays just the way it is now.

and just another shot. the rock must have 10+ feather dusters. Red ones, orange ones, brown ones ect. I havent even had it 24 hrs yet, could be more stuff. LFS stock too.

Thanks it was $40 (after a 20% discount for joining their mailing list. pretty cool store). I didn't even notice/care much about the rock til I got it in the tank. There are 6 decent size blue (purple is more like it) mushroom polyps and 4 tiny ones. Not bad at all for a LFS even compared to online prices and no shipping to pay.

The things circled in red could be vermetid snails ... if so they're harmless filter feeders. I'm not 100% sure though.

Hard to say, worms could be a type of peanut worm, you can search Sipunculids and may find them.
Polyps look like zoos.
The macro looks like genus Halimeda. ( I think thats the spelling )
All good....

the ones in blue look to be a type of anenomes I have quite a few in my LR they dont seem to do any damage to anything in the tank they do normally stay on the small side.the ones in red looks to be of 2 different types least in what Im seeing.the anenti type is a web spinning worm basicly noctural but can be at times seen during lighted hrs harmless from what I have read.the other in red from what it looks like to me I could be mistaken looks like a white tube? with a feather duster at the tips look closely to see if you can see the dusters. this link will give more information on worm facts and ID http://www.wetwebmedia.com/wormidfaqs.htm

Hmmm, the ones in red resemble our bristle stars that came in on our lr. Ophiura, would be able to tell you for sure. Just a thought....

My thought was brittle worms also. I think you might want to pull the plants and put them in your fuge if you have one. They might get out of control in your tank.

definitely look like brittle star legs to me. Spot feed a couple of them and I bet a star comes out of the crevice or hole. I posted a question concerning them yesterday, but don't have any responses yet.

I'll try spot feeding and see what happens since today is coral feed day anyway for me.

Bah I got to this thread late.

I had beaucoup of those stars sticking their legs out of the rock in my tank, was really neat to watch. Some of them got pretty big, like 6 inches of leg sticking out.

That plant you have in your tank is a Halimeda sp. They love calcium. They haven't caused a problem in my tank. I just prune them as necessary to keep them under control.

I can't believe I said bristle worms.....lol. I meant to say bristle stars. I am LMAO reading what I said. I was going to add to that post that I had 2 that were huge in my tank. They were probably 10" before I got rid of them. Could you imagine 10" bristle worms?
LMAO

I have a bunch of brittle stars like this guy who have little legs that hang out of the rocks... but at very late into the night if I look into the tank there are some LONG friggin legs sticking out in different areas. At least 6-8 inch legs.

The longest Bristleworm I've seen was about 18 feet long.
I have many that are over 12". The largest I have in my system that I know of is in my fry grow-out tank. It's very useful and I place a lot of my success on the larger bristle worms.
