Is there anything I can do to stop the salt build up around the tank? I am a little obsessive
I really don't like it

I saw the title and thought you were calling someone I know

NO, all you can do is keep cleaning it off (as far as I know)

no just the water falling from the inflows. It is a Marineland #3. If I could do it over I would not!

Extend them to go under the water surface or you will never get rid of it. Plus you will get better flow IMO with them under the water surface.

I think they are fixed right under the bio-wheel. I can rotate them left to right
but i may be able to use a tube of some kind. It may look bad but no worse than the salt lines and build up! Did I mention NEVER buy a Marineland #3 or any one piece unit!

Can you raise the level of water in your tank so that it is not splashing so much?

I can, but not enough to eliminate it. I will try to lessen the splash, that must be the cause. Thanks for your input.

I'm not sure what the returns look like on the marineland but you might try a piece of foam over the outflows or under them to reduce the splashing.

I saw a spray product at ***** or something that was supposed to top salt creep. Never used it but just to let you know... i think it was by coralife.

Splash is a big cause, so try to keep the water moving but calm. If you can hear it, it’s splashing little drops all over. Otherwise a damp cloth once a week should keep things under control. I also think excessive water hardness(too much Alk.) causes it to build up faster.

I tried the Coralife salt creep eliminator and as far as I'm concerned it did nothing, I think it is a waste of money. Just my .02.
