Critique my tank please - 125 gallon

I'll try and take a better tank pic, I suck at pictures obviously (it's the camera that sucks/me). The last pic is my sump. 90% of the water goes in on the left with my skimmer where it is supposed to go through the baffles to remove the bubbles. It sucks and doesn't work so I fill it up a little high and then it starts to work or even over the baffles and I have no bubbles but once it goes low from evaporation it's all over and bubbles start to appear. On the right you can see the fuge. I have my light sitting vertical next to it so it makes it look a little narrower than it is but I have about 25-30 pounds of cc in there with two rocks and chaeto.
So should I go easy with a 10 hour light cycle?

IMO, increase them one hour every 2 weeks just so the corals can adjust and moniture temps incase it changes...

Can't do it from work but if someone can open up the tank pic that says as promised and lighten it up a little you will get a better picture of it. Anyone?

did you open the canopy for that? you should just take pics when the lights are on as normal. dont move anything around, and turn off house lights.

I'm still working on the canopy and the front wasn't on at the time. I need to put hinges on it still and I got lazy. I'll put it back on this evening, turn off the house lights, keep the MH's on and take a quality pic but thanks dogstar, gives you a better idea....I hope.

These are still cell phone pics. I hate my other camera and it sucks to download them when I just use my phone and send them without wires but it is on my plate to get a new camera. Maybe I'll try my girlfriends camera.
As for the rock, I'm trying. It adds up. I'm about to get laid off and trying to sell my house so my funds are a little short right now. Unless you know anyone looking for an Ibanez RG450DC guitar with sweet upgrades. I've gotten almost all my rock off Craigslist except for one person on here who ripped me off of about 20 pounds of rock and didn't seem to care about it. Sent me 30 piunds instead of approx 50-60. Paypal wouldn't intervene on it either -

. I plan to get to at least 200 pounds for sure.
Now I just additional lighting suggestions for other than my MH's that I can use while on a budget.

well now that you have LR, just go buy base rock or even dead dried rock for cheap, and use it as base rock. put your existing LR on top of it and it will seed it. it will all be live within a month.

I've been searching for deals. Craigs list man...Craigslist. That is my best friend. I buy so much on there, including most all of my other rock. I find deals for $2 a pound frequently but when you still need a lot it adds up when you got bills. Plus, shipping base rock is the same as shipping live rock...almost, in terms of cost. But I also like getting hitchhikers out of the LR, gives a little extra flava!! I also have all the materials to do my own rock, just lazy.
