crown of thorns starfish

does anybody out there have a crown of thorns starfish in their tank and if so what kind of care do they require i am not thinking of getting one but a friend of mine is so any help i can give him would be appreciated

I would tell your friend to reconsider such an addition. They get very big and rather aggesive. I have heard that the spines contain a toxin of some sort but I am not sure on that. Here is a link on them with some good info.
