Crown Puffer

I added a Crown Puffer to my tank. It was eating fine in the fish store, but its been almost a week and it doesn't appear to be eating. It will put food in its mouth, then spit it out. Any suggestions?

Not exactly which puffer specifically you're talking about. Can you look through the fish section and maybe see which one you have?

I believe this is the Toby Puffer, What are you feeding, and what size tank is he in? It may also be eating what is spit out when you are not looking.

Another name for the puffer is Saddle Puffer.

I had this same issue with my Dogface Puffer and i just put some Xtreme Garlic on it and let it soak into his krill and he stucked it right down.
