When I had crushed coral I had scarlet hermits, a few blue legs, Cerith, Moon, Turbo snails, bristle worms, emerald crabs, lots of pods.
None of them truley liked to live or feed from the crushed coral, but of those perhaps the bristles and pods did the most cleanup.
Now the best thing that ever cleaned my crushed coral was a vaccum tube No animal can do what it did.

I also have cc and don't like it it seems to hold to much stuff i was wondering how i could safely add sand to my tank i'm a little worried if i burry junk in the cc by just adding it it will cause problems
Scott6321 Do a search for CC switch and you will find ways of effectively taking out your CC and adding sand. I did this a week ago successfully in less than a day. Basically, you remove the water into another source (in my case another 30 gal tank I happen to have), put your rocks and fish in there. Then remove the CC and replace. It is a little more complicated than that, it takes a little work, but in the end it is worth it. I feel like I have a band new tank. GL
