Crushed Coral Vs. Live Rock/Sand???

Ive seen some people say CC is the worst mistake they made, and repairing it is very costly... whats the big deal? lfs said the only issue he knows of is if the fish ingest it it can be deadly and such.... What else is bad about it?

Crushed coral is a nitrate trap, I had to change mine out to LS to get my Nitrates down to acceptable levels! It was worth it in the long run!
Hook heading down to Coral Island about 1 today, I need salt for my water changes, If you have some time comon down, Like to meet locals with the same obsessions

Damn! Just now got on here..... would have loved to get there again today.... i was there yesterday? or friday for about 30 minutes.... i love that place!
