90gal with a 30gal sump/fuge. DIY LEDs that Mr. BTLDReef built for me. Aquac 180 skimmer and a BRS dual reactor with carbon and GFO. 2mp40w's and at the moment a reefkeeper lite controller (hopefully soon to be upgraded to an Apex). A little over 110lbs of rock and 80lbs or so of sand.
Fish currently include:
Chevron Tang
Jeweled Leopard Wrasse
Pair of Melanaris wrasses
black Blenny
Pair of Perc clowns female misbar
Mandarin
I will add a full tank shot tonight. Forgot that :)

ohh and two Nems
GBTA clone I got from BTLDReef
Purple LTA I rescued from a local reefer who had the thing in his fuge. It currently does not extend it's tentacles more than a half inch but eats well and is looking better. Any suggestions on how to get him back to full help would be appreciated
Mag 9.5 return and a Mag 9.5 on the skimmer to overdrive it. I also have the 1'' spray injector upgrade for the skimmer but don't feel I need it at this time.
I use ESV salt and Prodibio. My cal fluctuates from 560ish at WC to 470ish right before WC. Mag is usually 1300is and alk 10 at wc 8.5 right before
Kitten was a rescue at 4 weeks from the strays I feed outside. Ran to my wife and jumped in her arms. That sealed her a place amound the gaggle of cats inside. :) I have a canopy on the tank to stop the cats from going swimming

Nice pics. I also am excited about a FTS.
Are you happy with the BRS dual reactors? I have been thinking about picking one up but I am on the fence.

Thank you! So far i like it. It has only been hooked up a few weeks. I have it mounted on the wall outside the tank so I am finding the MJ 1200 they recommended is losing power and not really moving the GFO. I am thinking of putting on a better pump

Looks really good - love the chevron tang - how big do they get by the way.
From everything i read they have the same growth rate as a Kole Tang. I think max is 9'' He is only 2.5-3 right now. From what i am reading he should be fine in the 90g with plenty of spaces to hide.
The tank is very peaceful right now. Everyone gets along and no fighting at all.

Oh I wasn't pulling a tang ploice on you, I was just thinking for my 65 reef - but they get a bit too big for that tank. Keep the pictures coming and how about a FTS ;)<

I didn't think you were. I chose him basically because even if he does fully grow out he will be ok and he looks cool. Plus I got a really good price on him. MY local fish store gave me him for $150. They usually go for $200 + It was more than I want to spend on a fish but for the price and it was right after christmas and all my relatives just give me cash i couldn't resist. 65 gal may be a little small. I have seen basically a 75 fully grown but if you do plan to upgrade at some point it will take years before he gets full grown if he ever does. The size he is now he would be fine in a 65 as long as he has places to hide. Very peaceful Tang also which was also a big selling point for me. He is expensive because he comes out of Hawaii.

Tank is really starting to come together nicely!
ABOUT TIME!!! (sorry, I had to)
I love the Chevron Tangs, they're great little tangs. We had considered one, but of course we had to go with the Achilles instead, lol

Everything looks fantastic. I'm jealous of the Chevron...it's my favorite tang, but I won't be able to get one. At 110g, my tank is only big enough to support one tang...and The Wife has Spoken; it will not be a Chevron.

Question for you: How long have you had your Chevron, and how big is it now? I'm curious about when they lose the juvenile colors in captivity....

Do a Kole tang. That tank would be okay for it.
