CUC with aggressive fish?

Has anyone out there had success with a clean up crew of some sort with aggrssive fish such as puffer,lion,wrasse,trigger,eels and tangs. My tank is doone cycling and full of algae to clean up, but I don't want something that is going to get devoured by my fish. Will serpant stars or something work? Any suggestions or opinions from experience will help.

tangs and some wrasses won't bother with snails/shrimp/crabs. puffers, lions, triggers and eels usually will.

I have a flamehawkfish who I watched with my own eyes "knock" a turbo snail off the glass and munch it down... since then I have found if I keep him well fed he leaves them alone.... so I dunno.... so far he hasn't touched anyone, but I think if you keep everyone well fed, they shouldn't bother anyone.. IMO.. :0)
