Cucumbers

I am interested in getting a sea cucumber beacuse I've heard that they are great cleaners. I have also heard that if they die; they will crash your whole tank with the toxins that they release. Is this true?

now dont quote me on this as i'm not 100% sure. but normal sea cucumbers wont crash a tank when they die...only certain types do that like the sea apple...but like i said dont take my word for it

ive got a black cucumber in my 120, he cruises around all day long stirring up the sand...his feeding tube things make him look like an alien!! ive read that this type of cucumber will not crash the tank if it dies...HTH

yeahh ive heard that the dark brown / black ones dont nuke. but im not sure... i am interested in getting one too, so ill keep an eye on this thread!

Anybody know any specific names of cucumbers that for sure won't crash tank?
