Cupramine problems

I have been dosing with Cupramine for about 10 days - .5 ppm and theres been little or no improvement. If anything the fish have gotten worse. fish that didn't have the ick prior to using the copper have it now! I have treated this tank before with copper tru (by kordon) and had a lot of success, but I couldn't get the copper tru this time so I tried the recommend Cupramine, no luck. I have the correct test kit and test twice daily what should I do? I can get the copper tru now, but I don't want to overdose the tank. my fish scratch a lot, please help! :help: I have a lot of really pretty fish!

The copper level is too low. What does the instructions say? Do you have a compatible copper test kit? Any reason you don't want to treat with hyposalinity?

I have the right test kit and the bottle say to treat at .5

How long have you been running the copper? No treatment will work while the ich is still on the fish. It works at killing the parasite at the free-swimming stage. Take a look at the post on ich in the FAQ which explains this.
