My question is are there a faster way to cure lr or is this the only way to do this. I know it will take any were from 2 weeks to 6 weeks or more but i just wanted to know if there was a faster way

Thats about the only way to go about it. Is the tank already cycled that it will eventually go in? Might need a heater in the tub with the LR as it cures to. Just keep checking the parameters in the tub and change water accordingly.

well it is not a tank it is a rubber maid 18 gal bucket and where i'm at it is hot over here so the heater is out of the question and it has been sitting about a week now with the salt mix in it

I've ordered some LR from the site and should be here by thurs. Do I need to cure this before I put it in or is it ready to go????

it's safest to cure it first (if it is already well cured it wont take long) but there will probably be some die off from shipping

Any rock that is shipped will have die off and must be considered uncured.
