Cureing live rock

ok cureing live rock how is this done? With my other none salt tanks to cure you soaked in bleach water then in seveal buckets of clean water w/dechlor. I'm sure this will kill the rocks.

you might try the search function. I bet you will find a million threads dealing with this very topic. Don't use bleach!

Depends on if you already have stuff in your tank. If not just put it in there once you have your water mixed and heated to the proper specs. Then just toss it in and let nature take course. If you do have stuff in your tank go buy a rubbermaid container and mix up some sw and put a powerhead and a heater in there and toss in the rock. It will take apx 4-6 wks to fully cure.

i ordered some from this site and what i did was put them in the extra empty tank with a filter heater powerhead protein skimmer etc. and just let them cycle took about 1 1/2 weeks imo the filter and protein skimmer help to speed up the process
