Ok I have a 27g tank that has been set up for 2 months with a piece of live rock in it. Now my question is if I take out my live rock can we cure the new live rock in that tank???

if there is no livestock in their now you can cure new LR with that chunk still in there. (it will actually help speed along the process a little by providing established bacteria)

Yes, just put it in with that little piece of rock. Although that will recycle the tank. I hope you have no livestock. If you do have animals then we're gonna need more info.

Watch your ammonia and keep it below 1.0 with water changes as neccessary to avoid killing beneficial life already in the tank.
