Curing LR with sand clouded water ... it's ok right?

I put together a 35 gallon (soon to be sump) tank with Southdown last night so I could cure some LR that I bought today. The water is still real cloudy and has a film on top. I can still start to cure the rock though right? Or should I wait? Thanks.

yes you can cure live rock with cloudy water when you change the water during curing try to blow the settiment off the rock with a turkey baster or powerhead before you change the water
