Dont do a water change until your tank is finished cycling. Wait til ammonia, nitrites are at 0 then do a 20% change to control the nitrates.

How long a go did you set this up? Changing water to soon wont really help, it needs to go through a process. If you keep adding fresh water it will actually slow the process. If you are further along in the process, then water changes would be fine.

Well ok here it goes I was a total bo-bo and bought supposed already cured live rock dispite knowing better after reading all the posts on here, I added it to my tank well this was disasterous which I am sure you already know by now I basiclly lost my whole tank except for my snails hermits and 1 lawnmower blenny. This is just a perfect example of being to anxious and not enough patients Please learn from my mistakes and take it a day at a time it's alot less costly and deadly. But anyway my tank has been up for 5 months and in 3 weeks I am upgrading to a 110 gallon tank so basicly the rock is curing and I am starting from scratch again!!!!!
