Curious little worms.

Can anyone tell me anything about some worms I have living in my tank.
They live in tube-like things on live rock and dead coral. They are virtually clear, very very thin and seem to be from an inch to a couple long. They come out of the tubes often but never all the way.
What are they? Are they good, bad or just harmless?

They could be feather dusters....or they might be bristle(fire) worms....Get a 6-line wrasse ... if they are bristle worms he will eat them up.

Thanks for the reply.
Don't think they're bristle worms - they are colourful, have legs and crawl around, don't they?
And feather dusters look like, erm, feather dusters.
These things look exactly like worms. I spotted one of them last night - it was at least 2 inches. But they never ever come all the way out of their tubes. For want of a better description, they look a bit like very, very elongated sperm. Very thin, almost clear with a tiny head.
They don't seem to do any harm. I'm just curious as to what they are.
