um...this is gonna sound dumb....but if a curly q anemone got ahold of a clown fish (true perc) to be exact. would it eat it if it was small enough? i thought clowns and anemones were friends? i cant tell exactly..but it looks like my clown might be inside the anemone...he definately isnt in the tank.

OH man, what pain! This is why it is soooo important to research everything before we add it to our tanks.
my sympathies are with the clown, not the curly Q!!

yeah well...i didnt realise the importance of research before i found this sight... to be honest ....i 'trusted' my lfs...like the majority of us out here......which I think there should be a regulation or something that says you need to have competent people working for you....preferably with some kind of marine background..or maybe even a required crash course for store owners..unfortunate for the clown yes ...he was my pet....but some good did come out of this.....I wont make that mistake again.

Lesson learned. Traumatic lesson at that, but it was learned. Some LFS know what they are talking about, very few but some do know what they are talking about and don’t just want to make a sale, they want to make a lasting and happy customer. Its your job has the hobbyist to investigate and learn the hobby and then research and find that LFS, and not be afraid to retort if you feel the information is wrong or is a leader line for a sale.
