Well I guess it depends on the size of your tank. I currently have it on my 65g and my BTA is doing great. I actually got some other corals today and I can give you a definate answer in a few days. :jumping:

These are some good light fixtures. I bought one from funkyman and in the short time that it has been on my tank, some of my coral have almost doubled in size. I also have the coralife on another tank, so far, I like this one better than the coralife.
If this one was 30", I would buy it myself.

Thank you MrsDorothy. What size tank do you have? And what kind of corals?

I recently started putting coral in the tank. I mostly have softies and mushrooms in the tank right now. kenya trees, zoos, colt coral, cabbage leather, but will be adding a few lsp coral and bta in a few weeks. It is a 65g tank with a 6" sandbed.

Well I also have a 65 with this light on it. I start putting some corals last weekend mushrooms, kenya tree and zoos and they look happy. So now I am thinking if I should stick with this light or change to MH.

At 6.9 wpg you have a lot of options at what you can keep with this lighting. You can also keep lsp corals with this light. IMO, you should keep it until you decide just what you want to keep in this tank.
