I purchased two of these lights 2 months ago from fish.com, i have since decided to switch directions with my tank FOWLR. Bulbs are 10k and were used 2 months @ 6 hours a day. They have external Ballast (seperate from the pendent) GREAT FOR A FRAG TANK, very little heat Here is a link that shows a pic, still have the box and warranty card.
