Current USA Sunpaq PC bulbs.....

i have a coral life aqualight pc light, and it is almost time to change my bulbs, and i was wondering if i had to buy the coral life bulbs for replacements, or if i can buy the Current USA sunpaq bulbs as replacements. can you interchange bulbs like that? or must i buy the coral life replacement bulbs

YOu can use any bulb that meets the spec for your light ficxture..they are not a proprrietary type bulb. I like the sunpaq bulbs better than the bulbs supplied by coralife myself. Just match wattage and pin configuration and you'll be fine.

I had aquired a heap of ballasts as well as bulbs form a Jewelery store that went out of business. Ballasts were driving various types of PC bulbs in display cases with quite a few of them hooked to 96 watt quads. Since the bulbs that were used were not suitable for reef tanks I had to buy replacement bulbs. I went with coralife replacement at first, and later on used some from that hello lights website...They worked just fine......then I bought some Current USA Sunpaqs and there is a noticeable difference with brightness and colors..Sunpaq gets my vote..There is a special on them right now at that two doctors place IIRC about $31 for a current 96 watt quad.
