HI GUYS I AM ABOUT TO BUY A HQI AND I was wondering if someone coul;d tell me what brand or system, is better ?? :thinking: :thinking: :thinking:

or the aquamedic 250W MH Lamp for.......$250
is this one good???

How deep is your tank? The Aquamedic is about $269 for a 250 watt. That is what my LFS uses and they seem nice.

what brand is the retro kit and what do you mind 2 250 MH FOR 250 thats tooo sheap .....could you explain me a little bit ??

if your planning on putting this in a nano tank, Id go with the 150watt..if not..I"d go w ith the 250wtt..
THe reason why I said 150 for nano is because....well..thse lights get really hotttttttttttttt, trust me I have one.

:help: :help: no one has really answert my question ....what do i get the current USA Sun pod ..or the 250 aquamedic....i dont want pendants....i dont have a nanotank...and i have enough light already in my tank i just need to know which of this two brands or equipments is better !!!!

i havent used either personally but because of the named brands you have to chose from I would go for the higher priced aquamedic over the wildly sold on nameless auctions sites of the USA current.there has to be a good reason why good LFS dont carry them. chances are when you go for cheeper you get what you pay for JMO
