cutting green star polyps and cloves?

have green star polyps growing insane,starting to hit other corals,same with cloves,how can i remove these without disturbing my aquascapecan i cut and peel them??any advice would be great?thanx

I think you can just cut a bit off an edge and peel it off the rock in a mat for the GSP... for the cloves, I have no experience.

For GSP I just use scissors.. I have a pair of barber shears that I use and clean the SW of right after...
have seen others just use regular run of the mill scissors and snip them off where you want them to come off
