Cuttlefish??

Hi, has anyone raised cuttlefish? My LFS told me you cannot get them, yet I read, "Sources of Live Cephalopods" and it stated that owning cephalopods was growing in popularity.
I would love to raise cuttlefish. Has anyone done it and had success? If so, I would love to hear the details, size tank desired, set up desired. The earlier mentioned online guide states everything in great detail, I was just hoping to get some real experience herein.
The LFS said you cannot feed them, they die of starvation, yet the article stated they eat hardily.
Any help you guys can give me is great - I was really disappointed to learn that I could not raise them, I was looking for a bigger tank to set up and maintain for the 3-4 months as instructed by the article online.

They are rarely seen in the hobby because they usually die of shipping trauma, if you want to know more you should check out www.tonmo.com which is a site about everything of cephalopods

***********.com use to sell cuttlefish about 6 months ago but stopped because it cost to much money and time to keep a cuttlefish not only alive but happy. Cuttlefish on average only live around 11 to 14 months same with octopi. Sadly there will always be some fish/invertebrates that can never be kept in an aquarium.

Thanks everyone for your posts. It is sad, huh? They are so cute, they have such personalities. Guess I will just have to enjoy them at my local Aquarium.
