heavy breathing, lack of appetite, and unusually bright coloration, sadly this usually does not wear off, and most fish end up dying, usually right after they begin to eat again
pretty horrible. if you definately want to avoid cyanide-caught fish, there are better and worse areas of the world to get fish from. a dwarf angel from hawaii would be best, whereas a chromis from the east wouldn't be as good a bet. in other words, many collection areas are really on top of collecters and their methods...some places aren't.
