cyanobacteria?

i just disagreed that phosphates was the #1 problem... i agree that without phosphates cyano will die, but without light it will also die...

Both light and phosphate are vital to cyanobacteria as well as pretty much everything else. The problem comes when phosphate is no longer a limiting resource. That is why I say that phosphate is the number one reason. In general most people's lighting is not the problem and cutting back on lighting will only serve to combat the symptom not the cause.

It is always a nice thing when people from Ohio and Ohio sucks can agree on something. This shows that there is still hope for world peace.
