Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows a good way to get rid of cyanobacteria? It has been a problem for me for a few weeks now and I don't want to just immediately buy some chemical treatment as I've read it will kill ALL bacteria indiscriminately and can de-cycle your tank.
My setup is only about 5 months old right now. Will cyano normally subside by itself? I have started to run the lights for fewer hours every day and am doing a 30% change every week.
