i tested my water and took samples to my lfs and they said its over.......... 8 weeks of pain and suffering.

8 weeks? That seems kind of long...what is the deal?

i cycled with live rock and fish food!. ammonia didnt want to go away stayed at .25 forever
now ammonia is 0

trates 20 down from 50 i added cheato

im going to get sunburst anthias , scotts velvet wrasses, black / white clowns, picasso clowns, and snowflake clowns i have several tanks all these not for the same tank. for corals im getting 5 clams maximas , 1 sun coral orange , feather dusters/coco worms, awesome zoanthids, purple/red/blue mushrooms, florida rics, thats all i want/afford so far. do you know of any cool corals cool as in color?
now i cant wait for my 125 to cycle

I am very happy for you! Remember that you have a diatom bloom coming next. That was just one hurtle. Do not rush.

how many tanks do you have? this is an aweful hobby. I got first fw about 14 months ago 55g, byfeb this year I had 8 aquariums, I have very little furniture now, but i would rather look at these aquariums then a wall. but now i have downsized I only have 5 running now. replacing all with 100 gal & up. and i am running 2 sw & 3 fw now. will be back to 7 by december.

i have 2 30 gallons standard size 2 40 gallon breeders 2 55 gallon tanks and 1 125 gallon 125 is just starting the cycle.
i have went threw a diatom algae bloom already. also the terrible hair algae i hate that stuff. the diatom algae grows fast i clean the tanks one day and its back 2 days later. but less and less now.

awesome!
post pics i like to see everyones aquscaping. its hard after they cycle, with all the waiting you just want to add all at once. Good thing i have other hobbies as well. It's so easy to get addicted in this hobby.
