I started to cycle my 75gal tank with 40lbs of LS, and 4 mollies. It has been cyclying for two weeks, i am getting 70lbs of LR on Friday. When i put the LR in my tank will it start my cycle over? or will it just speed up my cycle?
Please help!

You might want to search as I'm not too sure but I think if it's cured it won't make it cycle again? I'm sure somebody will come and verify soon.

Ok, I've seen this two or three times now.
Mollies? To cycle a salt tank??
These aren't the same species of mollies that you would put in a freshwater tank,...are they?

It’s going to depend on how much die off you get with the new lr. Even if it’s fully cured I would think your probably still going to get a small cycle.

Even cured LR will have die off...depending on how long it was in transit. So it may have an effect on the cycle.
On a side note...if you are just establishing your tank I'd suggest LR as a source of ammonia for the cycle...creates a good hard cycle ...may take a little longer...but in the long run the time and effort is worth it. I've cycled a few new systems using un-cured LR and I've been pleased with the end results. After the cycle completes I like to finish off the LR structure with carefully selected fully cured pieces.
