My 150g has been cycling now for 1.5 weeks.
Here are my readings...it is progressing.
PH 8.2
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 40 ppm
CA - 500
Phosphate - .25
KH - 161.1
Temp 80
Salinity - 1.026
I have had my lights on (4 AI SOL BLUE) 12 hours a day, then royal blue on at night.
I have a very nice (but not pretty) bloom of diatoms.
I am thinking of decreasing the lights to help with the algae growth.
Don't get me wrong, I will fully admit I sit there look at my tank to see if anything has changed...or as I say...waiting for a rock to move. haha!!
Just thought I would share my tank.
I have sump also that has LR only and 3 types of macro in it as of 2 days ago.
Feel free to chime in if you think anything seems out of wack or should be done. Thanks everyone!

The diatom bloom is pretty typical of a new set up. Often times I think the silica in new sand can be a major contributor. If it were me I would just let it run it's course but keep monitoring. The tank will go through a few changes along it's way to becoming a stable system. Sometimes months after the initial cycle has begun.
Welcome to the site. We always like pics so if you got em feel free to share em. :)
