Cycle???

the answer to that totaly depends on how you start your tank, I have had tanks set up and loaded with corals within an hour..... but that was using completely established EVERYTHING from another tank of mine. usually with standard start up practices any where from 2-6 weeks as teen said above..

yea i was wondering about the whole thing because that person at the LPS (local pet store ) rold me that i would need 2 wait 12 week which is like 3 months. and i was a little unsure about that.
did she tell me that because the tank will be more established after a longer period of time.

the tank will cycle in about 2-6 weeks.
it would be wise to hold out on corasl for 3 months, thus letting the tank mature and become more stable.
your clean up crew can go in a few days after the tnak fully cycles, and fish maybe a week or two after the clean up crew goes in.
