So i was thinking imagine that. that since it the cycle process takes longer in a saltwater tank . could you let the cycle start with just fresh then just ad salt about half way in to the cycle would this help speed it up or would it start over again

From what I understand the beneficial bacteria in saltwater is different than that in freshwater, so it would not benefit you to cycle the water without the salt in it.

well i am patience i have got that hint just from reading the board i haven't put any ls or lr in I am cycling with a shrimp i just wanted to know for refrence if this would help speed things up or not. It sounds like no but it never hurts to ask questions

Bacteria from the two environement will not exist in the other...same for parasites and virtually everything else...it is a matter of osmotic pressure...
