Cycling tank with skimmer poop?

So I am setting up my150gal 5x2x2 I got as a complete set up.
I have about 100-150lbsof nice LR in a tub with power head
Making150 gal of ro/di water…drip, drip…
so my question is the tank is ¾ way full so hopefully by tonight I can fire here up…
Kept the skimmer poop from the break down been six days now was thinking of adding it to get the cycle really going.
Thoughts?

I personally wouldn't do it. Put fish food, a raw shrimp, etc...but with live rock, you should be fine. I would not use skimmer stuff.

yeah i was kinda thinking that too... with the LR and substraight it should cycle nicly.
been a while sine i last cycled a tank so refreash my mind how fast should I see the spike? if I remember right last time i move a tank the cycle took 4-5 days
should I run the skimmer the 1st day or let the tank do it?
