Cycling tank

In 3rd week of Cycling (fishless) my 10G QT/hospital tank.
Ammonia is zero (adding a bit daily now)
Nitrites off scale (high)
Nitrates off scale (high).
I already did a 30% water change due to high nitrites and nitrates when ammonia initially dropped to zero.
My main tank cycled in less than 2 weeks.
Should I just leave till nitrites drop or more water change?

If your nitrite is still off the charts, you might be best off doing a water change to bring the nitrites down to a level within the range of your test kit. It sounds like your bacteria that work on the nitrite may have stalled. I don't think you can accurately test nitrate when the nitrite is high, I think it will give you a reading of nitrite/nitrate combined (if I am wrong, somebody correct me please). If you bring the nitrite concentration down, it may restart a little sooner, I think high levels make the bacteria shutdown, at least to some extent. You may want to hold off on dosing anymore ammonia to the tank until your nitrites begin to drop, then you can resume dosing to keep everything colonized.
