I've been reading and got a lot of info, just wanted to thank every body out there. My first post
Question I am cycling my tank 125 gallons with live sand and adamsel a puffer a clown and royal gramma all small sized. I wanted to add live rock can I still add the rock? Should i finish the cycle, right now I have brown algae growing on the sand and back wall. what steps should i take. When you cyle with live sand what type of readings should you get?

You're cycling a tank with those fish??
You must have loads of money to risk losing them.

WELCOME

How long have those fish been in there and how long have you been cycling the tank?
What exactly are your water test results?

The guy at the fish store told me they would be okay I didnot want to use those fish.
I have been cycling the tank for two weeks now no readings of ammonia or nitrite and nitrates are very low whats going on?

He definately had you jump right in with both feet, didn't he.
I suggest you see if they will take the fish back and give you credit or at least hold them for you. Once you get the inevitable ammonia reading, most if not all of them will probably die. You can effectively and humanely cycle your tank without the fish at all. Either get some good uncured live rock or throw a raw cocktail shrimp in there.
