Cycloop ez

I finally got around to picking up some cycloop ez (spelling is off, I know) for my corals. I have a candy coral, a medium colony of green star polyps, and some red mushrooms.
How often should I put a pinch of this stuff in?
Also, should I put this in at night when the candys (reason I bought the food, figured I'd try helping it with some food) feeders are out? My star polyp is closed at that time though and I have no idea about how mushrooms feed.
I would like some fast growth, and my levels are all at 0, alk is normal - don't have any real reef test kits, but the myrical mud SUPPOSEDLY keeps that all in check (I have my doubts about the stuff, but seems to be working so far, gotta get my water tested by the LFS).
I've been feeding the fish pretty heavy, the macro's seem to just soak up all the nitrates, so that is good.
When and how often do you guys think?

Really depends on how many critters you'll have eating....in a small system just a pinch every other day will be plenty. I feed a decent amount once a week in a display full of fish/corals/snails/crabs/shrimp...and assorted other creatures.
it is a great food source and a little goes a very long way.

I have been feeding my 55g (LPS/Softies) twice a week and my 110g (sps) once a week... both a small amount of Cyclop-eeze and Golden Pearl. As NM said... a little goes a LONG ways.
I also kind of target feed some of the LPS corals... I put a very small amount in the tank (or put in some DTs) so the corals will stretch out their feeders. While waiting I mix the Cyclop-eeze and Golden Pearl with tank water in a cup. When the feeders are nice and extended I use a turkey baster to squirt the food at them. That way you're sure they get a mouth full so to speak...
Did you get the frozen or dry??

Do SPS coral eat the stuff too?
SPS corals are carnivores and do feed. Is it necessary?? That's the big question. I have not seen a noticeable improvement in my corals sense I started feeding... I mostly feed the 110g with it for the micro organisms.

I got the small can of the dry to try it out. I was wondering if I could just spot feed it because I only really have the candy at night and the polyps at day, that helps.
Do the mushrooms "feed" at all? Or will they just filter out the stuff?
Should my fish be eating the stuff? My clowns start eating it when I put it in my tank... It's sortof like, hey, backoff, thats for the sick coral

my fish eat it as well. i mix alittle in every time i feed.
the wrasse loves em
if you havent noticed already they float so its best to soak them for a min or two first then put them in the tank. this way the sink down better. i also try to feed after lights go out so that most corals have there feeders out.

Some schrooms eat more that others... some can swallow small fish  What kind do you have??
I also use the dry and some of it does float. I've been told the frozen does not float at all.
All my fish go nuts when it's put in the tank... looks like they are pecking at nothing in the water
