I haven't tried the frozen, but did get the whole freeze dried that you are asking about.
At the moment I only have a couple of corals, a cleaner shrimp and a bunch of different snails. I wet my pinky and put it in the container then in the tank. All the snails reach out into the once it is waterborne (really neat to watch), the cleaner comes running out of the rock work- I can't say for sure what the corals are doing since they use the lights also as food...(a torch, and toadstool)
I would say it should work just the same.

I have used both for growing out Clownfish larvae and they appear to work equally well.
The Freeze Dried is nice because it can easily be ground down to a powder to feed even the tiniest fish.
The frozen is nice because it stays in the water column longer.

Well thanks for the replies. I phone all the LFS here and they don't even carry any cyclop-eeze. So a friend is putting in an order and I am going to get it from his order. It will be the dry though.
Thanks again.....
